Our saleswoman, Sandrine, was born in France and her family is from Viana do Castelo. Challenged by her sister-in-law — owner of a sugar stall in Bolhão — to continue the family business, which came from her grandmother and was passed on to her mother — both were flower sellers — Sandrine decided to open her own sugar stall in the market.

With a new stall in hands, Sandrine seized this opportunity, to thus fulfil her childhood dream of becoming a sugar saleswoman.
