The "Emília Hortaliceira" stall is a three-generation family business, where the past, present and future intersect.

It all started with her grandmother, Albina Rosa (92 years old in 2022), a woman with an incredible determination, who sold at Mercado do Bolhão until she was 87 years old.

Currently, this stall is run by the woman who gives it its name, Maria Emília, the daughter of the founder. The family recognizes Emília as a brave woman, always in a good mood, the true soul of the stall, who never gives up in the face of difficulties.

In the future, the stall will be in charge of Bruno Santos, Albina's grandson and Emília's son, who from an early age — when he was still attending school — started helping his grandmother and his mother in the family business at Mercado do Bolhão.
