Rosa Gonçalves was born in Rua Fernandes Tomás and has, therefore, known Mercado do Bolhão since she can remember being a human being.

Although Grainha: Bolhão was only established in 2018, Rosa's family connection with the market goes back a long way and started with her mother, Alice da Costa, who sold knick-knacks for 40 years in the market.

Eight years ago, Rosa decided to embrace the family business and became part of the second generation selling in the market. Only more recently, 4 years ago, did Rosa change her business field, and started an alcoholic beverage business dedicated to Port and table wine.

In the future, Rosa hopes that the market will continue to be her home and that of future generations.
